Facemasks 24/7
To think that just a few months ago in lockdown, we were all sitting at home with our legs up on the couch, drinking tea with our face masks on. As 2020 goes on, our Avocado & Honey face mask is more like Cotton & Breathable.
Its no secret that perhaps you have also been suffering from “Maskne” A condition that comes from the combination of Facemasks and 24/7. Be sure to share this with your Friends & Family, as we have put together a list of how you can avoid the issue, in the likely situation that we wont be taking these off for a while.

1. Avoid touching your face
For the obvious reasons of stopping the spread, we should not be touching our face. It also helps to stop the spread of imperfections on our skin.
2. Stay consistent with your skincare routine
Just like you put on your mask every time you get out, try to make your skin routine something you stick by, every-single-day. Even more so, wash your face twice daily. This will prevent the build up of nasty’s that stick around underneath our masks when we wear them. It will also keep your skin refreshed and ready for the next day.
3. Hydrate
You want to keep your skin hydrated after your wash so look for a products with hyaluronic acid. You can also give your skin a healthy barrier between your mask and skin surface by using a facial cleanser and cream with ceramides. Hydrating also proves to sooth the skin and the possible build up of irritation.
4. Find the right Mask
Feel all the better forgetting yourself a reusable mask, however you must keep it clean to protect your skin. If you are wearing a cloth mask be sure to wash it daily with a gentle fragrance free wash. If you are wearing a disposable mask, try to replace it as often as possible or allow it to air out in between uses. If you are struggling to find a mask with less irritation, find a material that is 100% cotton.
5. Book a Treatment
For an extra cleanse, there is nothing better than treating yourself to a facial. There are a number of Facials out there to support & target your skins requests, that sometimes we might not know about. Seeing a professional can also give you the answers & guide you into healthier and happier skin for longer.
