Ok, so we've definitely all seen a lot of Insta Chefs come out the past few months. Im talking even your neighbor thinks they're a celebrity chef now. Ive got two words for you, Banana Bread. You'll impress the whole family.

Keeping Calm in a situation like this is not easy, so lets try to switch off from the world every now and then to practice Calmness. Find comfort in the fact that you are not in this alone. Eliminate the feelings of anxiety & stress, in a peaceful environment.

Remember that stack of Beauty products building up in the back of your bathroom cupboard? Remember that pair of shoes you didn’t pull out all summer? Now. Now is the time to clean it all out, de-clutter & refresh.

Keep your mind sharp by learning something new. Find a new passion for cooking, art & crafts, instruments, language – and so much more. Learning is one of the best ways to keep our curiosity and creative thinking hand in hand. Perhaps take a short online course, you never know where it may take you.

They are many benefits that come from Face Masks & even better there are so many at home remedies you can find to make your own. Think ingredients like Avocado, Coconut, Banana & Honey. So good you could almost eat it!

Now might be the time that you are feeling Thankful for the things you are surrounded by. What would you do without that person you are Isolated with? Don’t hold back on showing GRATITUDE

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate.. Not something you only hear in lockdown right? That’s because it is so essential to our overall health. Our bodies depend on water to survive. Every cell, tissue & organ in your body needs water. Start with an easy 8 glasses a day, this will ensure your energised and ready to take on all your indoor activities planned for the day.

Time to get creative & use your imagination. Unlock those thoughts & ideas that have been tucked away in the back of your mind, to bring out new ways of doing things. Trust me, this will make your time in lockdown a lot more enjoyable.

So its now coming into week four of lockdown & you’ve noticed that you have already eaten your entire stash of snacks that you stockpiled in a panic. You’ve also been working from the couch a whole lot more, or is that just me? Now might be a good time to do a cleanse of any sort. TIP: Find someone to partner up with, you can cheer each other on and it will be much more motivating.

Ever laughed so much that it actually hurt? This is because when you laugh you are giving your body the joy of exercising the diaphragm, as well as your facial, leg, back & abdominal muscles.

One of the main reasons someone will practice meditation is to reduce stress and anxiety. Practice deep breathing in this time to release any bad energy, bringing positive energy to the surface. Research proves that maintaining an ongoing habit of meditation will help you with these benefits long term.

Improve your complexion by letting your skin breathe! Sometimes we find ourselves using make up to hide our blemishes and skin imperfections, however this could be the exact thing that’s causing them.

Challenge yourself to set aside a few hours each day where you are completely offline. At times like these social media and news platforms are overwhelming and its exhausting. Give your mind a break, and open it up to something new.

Now with a lot of our global population working from home, it is so important to be mindful of our posture. Try to make sure, that if you are working from a computer or laptop, you are working from a desk with a comfortable chair. Good posture gives us good balance, supporting our overall body equally.

Lockdown week four, I'm just saying, we might all start to go crazy. Nothing a little song & dance cant help with. I'm talking the volume up so high, your neighbours start dancing with you.

So your on Day 23 of your fitness program, read your fifth book and finished all your chores before 10am. Time to treat yourself. This doesn’t only apply for isolation but should apply for your normal day to day life. Rewarding ourselves after we have achieved something makes us feel happy and happiness is key.

There are so many things to read about in the media, we all know that. Before you get stuck reading too far into an article that might be completely untrue, make sure it is coming from a trustworthy source. WHO –World Health Organisation, have many helpful updates as well as ways to keep yourself and others safe.

Vitamins and Minerals are two of the main types of nutrients that your body needs to survive and stay healthy. They help your body to grow, function and work the way it should. The best source of these are found in natural unprocessed wholefoods such as fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes.

Being active has shown to have many health benefits, both physically and mentally. Engaging in regular exercise will keep you fit and healthy throughout lockdown. This will also bring long term benefits such as maintaining your weight, energy & allowing you to have a good sleep at night.

There are so many benefits that come along with regular exfoliation, including reduced symptoms of acne & hormonal breakouts, improves skin texture & moisture absorption. Bye, Bye Dry Skin!

One of the best ways to start a day, or unwind from daily stress is to practice yoga. The greatest part about yoga is that it is equally as effective from your own lounge room as it is from a studio. In fact you can look up many online classes and they’ll be teaching you from one lounge room to the next.
