Pro Blo Blow Drying Brushes, get the low down

@problogroup

During this time of quarantine, the one thing I have been thinking more about is my hair. Whether that’s spending extra time to nourish it with oils or treatments or just looking at myself in the mirror and it not being a tied back hot mess! During usual weeks of life and as a mum who works part time, I never give my hair any attention. You're lucky if I wash it and even touch it with a hair dryer. Otherwise it’s natural dry, fall asleep on it and put it in a top knot the next day! So now seems like a good time to put things into practice. With being at home, no where to go, no one to see, it’s even easier then normal, to slip into the ‘bad hair day’ every - single - day. So here’s a favourite of mine. which is easy, breezy and gives you the ‘I’ve walked out of a salon’ look.

The ProBlo group have changed my life! When I think back to past events and realise how often I get invited to a last minute brunch or dinner and my hair is a state, puts me off wanting to go. You either end up doing a Kimmie K and slicking it back into a middle parting bun (which all the same looks great!) but those days you wash it and wish that someone comes home and gives you a big, salon blow dry to make life easier, you are stuck. Period.

This is where the ProBlo brushes come into play. It’s an easy to use, innovative brush and tool, which creates voluminous curls with that flawless, glossy, professionally blow dried finish. It comes with:

* 6 x brush barrels.
* 6 x hair clips.
* 1 x handle.
* 1 x travel bag.

I keep the brushes and clips at hand just like any hairdresser and quite easily achieve the look I want in just less then 20 minutes. The trick is to section your hair, roll your hair into the brush and attach the hair clip. There are different sizes in the brushes, so you can section larger bits of hair for the bigger brushes and the smaller, front line sections for the smaller brushes. Once the brushes are applied to rough dried hair - just blow the hair dryer over it, spritz some hair spray over it and then wait. If I have lots of time on my hands (which is rare) I wait up to 15 mins.

One of the best features for me is the grip of these detachable brushes, the ease of attaching the heads and then removal of it from the hair. Which again makes it a product I don’t mind going to regularly, as I know it’s fuss free and doesn’t take ages. After carefully removing the clips and brushes, you honestly get the perfect bouncy loose curl - depending on the look your going for. If you want a more curlier appearance, you would direct the heat on it for longer and possibly use a curl serum before drying. I just add some Moroccan oil on my finger tips and run it through and legit get this non try hard, but fabulous look!

To summarise; I know many friends who prefer getting a blow dry done every few days professionally to save them the hassle of washing and styling their own hair. If I had the time to do that, it would be great, but the truth is, when you have kids and a hectic lifestyle, you need something at home that you can do yourself, other than the ironed out, straight look, done with a straightening iron. You can do this in the comfort of your home and without using too much heat, which causes known damage. Protect your hair. Look good in your hair. And hopefully during quarantine, be kinder to your hair. You’ve got the time. Use it wisely. Learn all your efficient, ‘looking good’ beauty hacks!
